About
Dirty AF began over a decade ago when we discovered a traditional guasha body-wash at a detox retreat. It was raw, simple and incredibly effective — so we made it our own.
Through life’s ups and downs, including when one of our boys got sick, we leaned into cleaner living and stripped back unnecessary chemicals at home. This wash became a daily ritual.
Our son made a full recovery, and together we turned that chapter into Dirty AF — 100% clean formula and unapologetically bold, cheeky and fun.
Sustainability Mission
At Dirty AF, clean skin begins with a clean conscience. Every product is crafted with a 100% clean formula and the lightest-touch, fully recyclable packaging. We’re continually evolving, exploring new, more sustainable materials and partnering only with suppliers who share our commitment to ethical, earth-minded practices.
From the botanicals we blend to the bottles we fill, every choice is made to purify without polluting, nourish without depleting, and leave both your skin and the planet wickedly clean.

Questions people actually ask
What actually is a guasha body wash?
Gua sha is a centuries-old East Asian practice of massaging and scraping the skin rather than just washing over it. This is a cheeky reinvention of it: a paste you work straight onto wet skin instead of a foam that sits on top. It is made to be massaged in — especially the bacteria-prone spots like the armpits and groin, where sweat and odour actually start. Body wash, scrub and deodoriser in one tub — four ingredients, nothing else.
Why doesn't it foam?
No foaming agents means no bubbles doing the marketing for you. The paste is worked onto wet skin, so the bicarb can neutralise odour and buff away the day where it actually sits.
How do I use it?
Scoop a small amount into your hand and add a little water to activate the paste. Massage it into the armpits and groin first — wherever there are lymph nodes and sweat glands — then over the rest of the body that needs a deep clean. Rinse off. Seal the lid tightly after use.
My tub looks a bit different to my last one. Normal?
Completely. Handcrafted, not factory made — every tub varies slightly, and crystallised edges are just the bicarb and vodka doing their thing.
What about sensitive skin?
Patch test first — it contains vodka and bicarb, which can irritate some people. If you're prone to dryness, start with Morning Glory. When in doubt, check with a healthcare professional.
